I for one will be looking to see how good Mett is coming out this year. If he shows any success, its likely the QB we needed to win the MNC was on the bench which means the unthinkable to LSU fans: Miles allegiance to seniority potentially cost LSU a title.

in any of these interviews did they ask him about his relationship with lee?

You do realize jlee hasn't thrown a pick 6 since 2000 and fricking 8 don't you?
and about half shouldn't have happened due to the fact that no one could make a tackle...

I honestly think JJ has some kind of social disorder. It's not normal to have so little self awareness.

I've pretty much tried to quite the hate for JJ and Lee, but JJ really has brought this last situation on hisself. At what point does he say to himself," I DIDNT AY WELL"? I think we went away from the passing plays because JJ was not gonna throw ball. If you're playing qb and the ball is snapped, by 3 mississippi, if you havent thrown the ball you aren't doing YOUR job. Also need once while running the option did he attack the line of scrimmage. He never made the first defender tackle him

A lot this falls in his lap.
Don't agree. Everyone in the football world outside a few delusional hacks knew JJ had severe deficiencies and at times there were better options. It's the coaching staff's fault for putting all of their trust in JJ and obviously being incapable of working around his deficiencies.

Because another year in the system under Krags and not get thrown to the wolves against bama doesn't help him improve?
Different players react differently to various situations. That game may have created a legend, you never know. The guy isn't some 18 year old frosh and may only be here another year.

another year, and another one after that didnt help JJ did it?
You missed the point.
If he comes out lighting shite up, there's no way you could convince me or anyone else with an ounce of common sense that he probably wasnt better last year than JJ had he been given the opportunties to get some action last year.

JJ is about to get called out on the SVP Show on ESPN2
Basically said JJ didn't make any plays and that they felt he was the weak spot on the team.
No doubt JJ was LSU's weakest Player . And yet he JJ was Bama's best defensive player . He JJ should have been given Bama's gameball. The coaches called the plays they thought he JJ could handle . WRONG !!! But JJ will be a great pro, QB for the New Orleans Saints.

All you guys ripping on JJ (I agree btw) just remember this...
If JJ were coming back to LSU next year, he would start every game and Mett would not play.
FACT.
What does that tell you about Miles' judgment?

I think it's fair to say that CLM was pretty much faced with a no win situation vs Alabama...one QB who obviously spent not enough time studying the game plan (whether or not it was good enough), or another QB who had a meltdown vs Bama in the first game.
I don't think JL would have done much better, but we have a 3rd QB on our roster.
I would have tried him.
I think SVP was fair, but there's so much blame (and credit) to go around for 1/9 that targeting any one person is hateful.
Now, targeting JJ for his words...that's understandable.

not in this one, but they did ask him if Lee was supposed to go into the game late and basically told Les to frick off. he laughed it off and said that's just ppl starting rumors.

We had the weapons didn't use them and as SVP said of the aftermaths negativity "Maybe it's because they came so close to a perfect season a frustration set in..." or words to that affect. Going into the game I thought the worst that could happen is JJ has a bad day and Les doesn't pull him. Was a easy prediction and the why of that I guess we'll never know.

This is the reason why people shouldn't blame JJ. It's Miles.
And you are right, if JJ were returning there is no doubt Mett would get mop up duty only. But don't blame JJ, it isn't his fault.

I agree with you to a large extent, but a spoiled child is still obnoxious, even if the child can't spoil himself.

Jordan Jefferson-wins the Oscar for having the biggest delusions of any Quarterback to play in a Natonal Championship Game.
