SVP to JJ: "find something in your house that casts a reflection and look in it"

another QB who had a meltdown vs Bama in the first game.

One bad game against the best defense in the country is no reason to bench a player for the rest of the season and scrap the system that had worked for the first 8 games of the year. Neither JJ or JL was capable of being the guy but together they were pretty formidable and least forced defenses to prepare for both their skill sets.

Whatever you say. Mett is on record stating he has a lot of learning to do.

What do you expect him to say? Mett has already stated he thought he would be able to compete for the job this year.

SVP is telling it like it is, and Jefferson brought this on himself. This is why he has the only decent radio show on ESPN.

It's so tired and lame watching player after player blame the coaches, and I legitimately think they all believe, "Well, this will show everyone it wasn't MY fault we lost. I did everything I possibly could." And This goes for Blackwell and Peterson on down to JJ.

Talent will get a lot of people opportunities, but when you are a guy like JJ, who need to convince people to believe in your talent (because your play has show nothing), saying shite like this only makes NFL coaches and execs shudder. This isn't what they want to hear.

I wish he would shut up so that we could wish him well in his attempt to make a Pro team, but he is not endearing himself with such talk.

Hasn't that generally been his MO?

His terrible play and poor decision making had nothing to do with it. He made great decisons, if you don't believe that ask JJ, he does. He stunk. But so did the play calling in the second half. The combination of the 2 made for a disaster. I was there and it was just that a disaster.

I'm not one to root against Tigers past or present because I want/wanted their backup to play.

I can say without a doubt, Jefferson had a shitty attitude his entire time at LSU. Thit's 100% what kept him from ever improving. I'm sure he worked hard off the field and in the spring, but his facial expressions and interviews during and after games were absolutely sickening to see and hear.

I've never seen someone throw a pick and always blame the OL. At some point there comes a time when you step up, make a good throw, and take a hit. Just seems that was very rare for JJ (or JL for that matter).

I think what rubs fans wrong about JJ more than Lee is 110% his attitude. If Lee had Jefferson's abilities or Jefferson had Let's attitude, we would've won January 9th.

Doesn't sound too bad. He just questioned some of the coaching decisions like we all did.
