What is he supposed to do. His guys can't find the strike zone this is weekend. He's trying to get this roster with gaping holes as far as he can.

This is the same game as yesterday. Squander opportunities early in the game to score, go cold, and play bend but don’t break defense...until we break.

Pulling Hilliard after he was hit very, very hard for 3 innings?
Running with Bianco? Don't hate the move to get guys into scoring position for the top of the lineup.
Pinch hitting for Jobert with Dugas? got hit in the leg
Putting Hasty in? Our best left against a lefty? and then pulling him as soon as there was trouble?
Putting in Fontenot to try and get out of a jam?

So would you say that Southern Misd is better than any baseball team in the state of Louisiana ? Southern Miss has less talent and had no where near the recruiting class that Jay has had at LSU.

What he’s doing right now with the talks to pitchers, the appeals and pitching changes is really smart coaching. He’s doing all he can to temper the momentum at a crucial moment in the game. Let it play out.

Most people agreed we needed to score at least 10 to win this game. We’re stuck at 4 for the 2nd straight game. The offense has to score more runs.
