FYI --- It's Friday, 10am.
The record is 18,777.

You obviously have to go all the way even to have a shot but the dirty little secret of this challenge is a lot of these things don't get eaten, and a ton of money comes in from people sending money electronically to their friends who then put the order in to run up the numbers.
I'd be surprised if Ole Miss fans ate a quarter of those 16k Jello shots last year.

You need to adjust for inflation. They were $4.50 last year and they are $5.00 this year.

If LSU starts out 2-0, they may run away with the record before the championship series even starts. I know people have been trickling into Omaha, but everybody isn't there yet.
