They're both GREAT!!!

But in term of 'greatness,' JJ is being compared to ... wait4it ... Odell Beckham Jr

Any question as to who is WR-U?

They’re in 2 different systems asked to do different things. The Vikings rely more on 2 guys with Jefferson as a true 1 in the traditional sense while the Bengals have 3 main targets to attack in different ways.

Obviously JB was not the same when Chase was injured last week.

Eh, Burrow played just fine. Mixon was feeling it so they just kept feeding him but Burrow was still efficient in the passing game even without Chase. Unless you're talking about the Browns game, that was definitely a rough game. Also Burrow looked great as a rookie before Chase even went pro.

Chase was better in 2019

Man, I thought during the Peach Bowl that the Biletnikoff might've gone to the wrong LSU WR. Justin was that good.

And I say that realizing Chase was phenomenal. We were spoiled with those two studs.

It still amazes me that the Eagles picked another receiver ahead of Jefferson. Not sure what they were thinking.

LSU 2019 receiving room had:

Justin Jefferson
Ja’Marr Chase
Terrace Marshall
Racey McMath
Derrick Dillon
Jontre Kirklin
Stephen Sullivan
Thad Moss
Jaray Jenkins

That is absurd.

Everyone benefited from the other & we had front row seats to witness.

You guys see Joe Brady on the bills sidelines with Allen? Really thought he would be doing more than QB coach with the bills.

Are people really still doubting Burrow? What does this guy have to do to prove he’s an elite QB?

Also comparisons between Chase and Jefferson are dumb. They are both amazing and former LSU WRs just enjoy the show from our former guys.

He's lucky to have gotten that job.

People are prisoners of the moment and live week to week, snap to snap. It’s honestly quite fascinating to watch

Dude is one of the greatest college QBs of all time, won the Heisman by the largest margin ever, led THE greatest national championship team, and then transitioned nicely to the pros. In his rookie year he was neck and neck for ROY before injury, led his team to a superbowl run in his second year, and also has the most 400-500 yard games in as short of time for a QB ever.

He’s not a flashy/video game QB like Mahomes or a cannon like Allen, so people just assume he’s a meh QB. All the guy does is just quietly add up yards through efficient smart plays.

Edit - never thought I’d get downvoted for defending Joe Burrow on an LSU board. Never change Rand, never change.

It is mind-boggling that he was not the leading receiver on the team with these numbers. Think about that for a minute.

Most yards per game receiving in NFL history:

97.2 Justin Jefferson
90.2 Julio Jones
86.1 Calvin Johnson
85.8 Ja'Marr Chase
84.2 Antonio Brown
83.8 Michael Thomas
80.1 Cooper Kupp
78.3 DeAndre Hopkins

Jones is trending to fall below 90 yds per game by year's end and if he continues to play it will go even lower than that in the direction of Calvin Johnson's number.

There's going be a point in time within the next couple of seasons that Jefferson and Chase will be #1 and #2 in that list.

Jefferson has better coaching. Only reason Zac Taylor is employed is because of burrow.
