Daniels has now been a full-time starter for 4 straight years and is basically the same exact level of passer as his freshman year.

Yep. You keep Daniels as the starter, the 2023 offense will be marginally better than the 2022 offense, and the tape is out on Daniels. 9 win ceiling with Daniels starting next year.

Well, he just won 9 with arguably the weakest LSU roster in 20 years, soooooooooo...

The offense was too dependent on JD and that's a bad thing.

Yea, that's not a good thing. It's horrible in fact.

Well yes and no.

It did work for Auburn once.

Because this year is over. And I want to win the damn thing next year. And to do that we need to get more consistent QB play.

And it’s possible that you could get that with JD. It’s also possible you could get that with Nuss. But neither are a guarantee and any rational persons knows this. It’s possible you could make either of them the starter and it go south real quick.

A team's best offensive plays cannot be a broken down pass play and the qb scrambling. That in essence is exactly the LSU offense this past year. While,I will admit JD is good at it, he is severely lacking the major attribute of qbs in today's game...finding receivers, throwing them open, having a strong enough arm to stretch an offense to get safeties away from the los so the running game has a chance, being able to accurately throw all pass patterns, not just 5-10 yd hitches. JD is lacking in all these qualities.
LSU has to move on so we can develop a real offense, a balanced offense where the team isn't so dependent on one player scrambling.

Daniels left so many big plays on the table. So many points. He has had > 40 starts to figure things out. Why spend more time on him when there are QBs with more upside to develop?

Because there is zero guarantee that he will develop. That’s what he’s supposed to be doing in practice not on the field in games.

Let it all play out. If Nuss really is the answer, he will prove it in the off season.

To anyone who wants to claim BK isn’t giving him the opportunity because he’s “too stubborn”. How do you know? You have no idea what goes on in practices. And if BK is too stubborn, then honestly, bitching about who the better QB is is pointless because BK is going to play whoever he wants and no amount of bitching will change it. If we don’t win, he will eventually be fired and I can assure you, he won’t leave this program in as bad of shape as that dipshit Orgeron left it.

Our Runningbacks have been weak since 2019.

That needs to change
The RBs have been slightly above average to me this season. The OLine with it's inexperience has been the problem, it's hard to have good running when the OLine isn't good. But Williams has been spectacular with his relentless style of running, and Cain has been a solid RB as well. Emery, with his obvious talents has been disappointing with his fumbling issues and all. He needs to work at becoming dependable.

Anyone who says this has absolutely no clue about CFB and their comments should be ignored. BK has no problem playing multiple qbs...last yr he played 3

I agree. I put that though because I’ve seen it posted here about him.
