Its just such a weird thing to be griped about 2 seasons removed. This is the 3rd season without him I mean its just stupid. He let his momma ruin the relationship that would have paid him the highest honors years down the road. Just a terrible decision that is very short sided.

If the 2011 LSU tigers had a Qb they’d be considered the greatest team of all time. They didn’t.
If Guice or Fournette had any kind of passing threat they would’ve won hiesmans.

Yep. The problem is that Joey B won a natty and didn't try to copyright #9. JD didn't win a natty and his "team" made him look like a petty jackass.
We will all forget that Burrow had a functional defense. Hopefully this blows over and the JD's highlight reels blur this ugly little chapter.
But yeah, sure seems tarnished at the moment.
