How in the hell did 10% of the voters not have Daniels on their ballot? If you don't vote him 1st, then fine. But not on the ballot at all? I'd love to hear the rationale.

Congratulations to Jayden Daniels. It is such a wonderful accomplishment for this young man.
Allowing this bright shining star to get targeted risking his hopes and dreams should bring shame to some of those people in the SEC home office.
This is Daniels’ Heisman Trophy, his family’s, LSU’s, and his fans. The SEC powers that be and their contrivances can pound sand.

Surprised! There is justice after all. Nabers should have gotten the Biletnakoff though. JD couldn't have won the Heisman without Nabers.

Congratulations to Jayden Daniels on an outstanding season. I found his acceptance speech to be very thoughtful and concise.

Might want to take your accounting somewhere other than Deloitte. JD5 had 4,946 TOTAL YARDS, not 4,496 as Deloitte stated. There is no "accounting" for such a strategic error.

From Wikipedia
I don’t even remember hearing about the Maxwell Award.
quote:
Since 2014 (the beginning of the College Football Playoff era), the Maxwell Award winner has gone on to win the Heisman Trophy during the same voting cycle in every year except 2018 (Tua Tagovailoa) and 2023 (Michael Penix Jr.).

Tigers now second team to have Golden Spikes and Heisman winners in same year (Okla St; 1988; Robin Ventura and Barry Sanders), BUT we also won the CWS and had the Top 2 overall players taken in MLB Draft in 1988. Then there is also that other National Championship in 1988 to boot...or should I say to The Boot.

frick off. Charles Woodson was deserving. Also led his team to a National Championship that season.

I feel like 10% of people need to lose their voting privilege if they aren't going to take it seriously

Ryan Day is so creepy with his dyed beard and hair.
Guys, when you get older, please do not do this. You can be seen a mile away and it makes you look pathetic, not sexy, not young, not virile. Horrible.
Way to go, Jayden!

Congratulations to the young man. He earned his respect and the award. I have been fortunate to watch two great Tigers wins the Heisman Trophy. Good luck in the NFL.
