His running ability will pull the safeties in and our WR’s will be 1 on 1. Looks like he can get it to them deep too

Someone posted he had 10 tds and 10 picks last season? That's not really good, especially in pac 10.

Wait till you read the play by play comments on the scoreboard during his first game against a real SEC defense

Cant wait for, "And we thought Max Johnson was really bad, why did CBK waste a spot for this guy"

And in his 16 games prior to that he had 29 TDs to 2 INTs. The wheels came off at Arizona State program.

As a degenerate gambler, I watched this guy a decent amount last year. He’s not very good. People are getting excited for absolutely no reason IMO.

He threw 32 tds in 29 games. Brennan threw 11 in 3 games his year as a starter.

Got to love our fanbase. Always the excuse making. I have no reason why he came here with our qb room, but if Kelly starts him over Brennen then it will be a very short honeymoon for Kelly. This guy averages a little over 1 td a game IN THE PAC. EOD.

I like the move; our QB room has talent but very little game experience. They’ve said all along they wanted to bring in a transfer QB and this one brings experience. If he doesn’t win the job he’ll at least push the others.

How much eligibility does he have left? COVID extra year?

Brennan is a 10th year Sr. He has plenty of experience. Nus has more talent too, he is just a gunslinger. This guy averages 1 TD a game passing. Yeah, that won't fly in the sec

Inhabe great hesitation in saying this player will be great. Have only seen highlights and the unflattering time he get kicked out of the locker room by his old teammates when he decided to leave. They did not respect him at all. I am all for a second chance. I do not understand why everyone thinks Nuss would even get beat out by this guy. I was expecting a tough battle between him and Brennan. May the best man win and I cannot believe any promises have been made. We have to have back up plans. Brenna has turned into a teletubie.

I think he’s being brought in for depth and experience. I just don’t see him coming in and being the starter.

Reason I say this is if we were in the market for a starting QB, there were much better options available earlier in the process. This really feels like just adding depth in the room.

So I’ll say it again, our QB room has very little game experience. I’m a fan of Brennan and think he’ll do well. Having said that, there’s no reason to turn away a guy with this ability and experience - it’s competition.

You can't play in the SEC at 185 lbs.

I'll take Brennan's ability and experience over his. Brennan had practice against much better defense. That guy played in the pass happy pac 10, and averaged 1 TD a game. Sorry, not buying it. I had my share of JJ, don't want to have to endure that again.

You should look again at ASU stats, their yardage was 50:50 run/pass. That was not a pass happy team. I’m happy to see what our staff can do with both Brennan and Daniels.

ETA: they ran the ball 37 times per game.
