bullshite. Daniels isn’t any more of a known today coming off a poor season where he seriously regressed.

More importantly, this off-season is about needs and replenishing the roster. We brought in a QB who isn’t a top-tier, sure fire starter when we have no center ready to start and two total TEs on scholarship, along with other needs on defense. It certainly looks like we have bigger priorities this off-season than taking a maybe a QB, but the staff can do what they want. But that still doesn’t have dick to do with the “Bama mentality” you are slobbering over.

Wait. People are using this video to say he’s going tk he a problem in the locker room?

Daniels’ stupid mistake was making a big public display of saying he was definitely staying at ASU. Then he promptly started to look for an exit right after the season before hitting the portal. That doesn’t make him a headcase, but he made his own bed with how he handled things.

To be fair, he may have sincerely planned on staying, but several ASU coaches resigned or were fired at the start of the year. NSD was also a disaster for them, and there was speculation last month that Herm could still be fired this offseason.

Maybe Daniels could've handled things differently since he obviously was aware an investigation was happening, but he may not have expected much to happen. It feels like ASU is bracing themselves for the NCAA's hammer now.

Is this a stab in Brennan's back? CBK asks him to come back and then gets a transfer to come in and compete with him. Unless CBK had conversations with Brennan about it beforehand, it's bull shite

Brian Kelly was hired to fix LSU Football not appease a QB who has missed the last 20 LSU games and has proven to be fragile and unreliable at this point. Brennan has not earned anything by being hurt for two years except an opportunity to compete. What happens if Brennan gets hurt again or trips wearing flip flops again? Our QB Room needed stability and Walker Howard wants and needs a Redshirt year.

I highly doubt that.

You have to consider what kind of qb Denbrock had in Cincinnati with Ridder. A Mobile qb is essential to his offense. Myles is my guy, but I think Daniels was brought here to play asap...

Since he’s transferring here, he is the best.

They talked Brennan into coming back. It would be pretty screwed up to then replace him before his first game.

JD won't win many games in the SEC with 200 yrds passing per game. He will not run in the SEC at 185 lbs.

I will take Brennan's 400 per game.

It’s hilarious to me the subgroup of people on this site who are more worried about Myles Brennan’s feelings than what’s best for the football team

I am more worried that out current backup situation is not encouraging enough that CBK went and got another transfer QB

This kid is a legitimate elite runner for a QB. We just got more options in the red zone and 3rd down at the very least. And a three year starter, plenty of film, he is much more known than anything we got, especially for a brand new staff.

We ran out of QBs last year. You bring on a sure fire starter (is there even one of those available?), and one of the QBs definitely leaves and you are back to 3, which is an inadequate amount of QBs. Not to mention, the dude is more than capable of making big plays and could turn into a starter for us

This is a nice addition, any argument to the contrary seems to be to protect the QBs on the roster already.

If he was here under normal circumstances I wouldn't make a peep. He left the transfer portal because the team needed him.

Brennan will transfer if he's not starting. There's no chance all 4 qbs are on the squad during the season

I think it makes sense to have someone who has a lot of experience ready if Brennan goes down.
