He’s definitely letting it fly right now. I’m just curious in a tight game if he’ll shut it down mentally

He’s much more decisive in his decision making. He still needs to work on pocket presence. It wants to run when at first he doesn’t see an open receiver. But I’ve seen major improvement. Kudos to JD5 for putting in the work.

Stats don't tell everything.

The main issue people have with Jayden is him not throwing it down the field and being way too gun shy in general.

When Jayden plays like he did yesterday (not just the stats, but actually going through progressions and taking some chances) everyone is ecstatic to have him as our QB.

Id like to see better accuracy on his deep passes. He tends to under throw the WR. Like he did Neighbors on one of his deep passes

Statistics say he’s the most accurate deep passer in the SEC this year… but continue to spew stupidity like 90% of this site.

I think what he’s saying is that if Daniels didn’t have a wide receiver to catch the ball then it’s an incompletion every time. Receivers are bailing him out by not dropping the ball like they did two weeks ago

His passes in yesterday’s game were perfect.

And it’s Nabers.

I don’t care if you throw for 800 yards, touchdowns are what matter and your starting QB being responsible for 1 touchdown and 1 turnover in your hardest game of the year doesn’t cut it.

Grambling and miss state are bad teams, but we’ll get a better idea against OM and Bama

So… just a hypothetical

If the QB throws for 800 yards no TDs, but the RBs get 8 1 yard TD runs. The QB sucks because he wasn’t “responsible” for the 8 TDs?

And what if the team loses 63-56 because the defense sucks, is that the QBs fault too?

Of all the awful takes, the “underthrow” criticism on that pass to Nabers might be the worst. That ball was 50+ yards in the air and there was a safety in front of Nabers.

I don’t really understand what this statement means. They are bailing him out by doing their job? I mean it’s not like these guys are making diving 1 handed catches.

We know.

I find it a bit odd how you refuse to give Daniels any credit in the game yesterday (instead you look at his performance in a game that took place three weeks ago and dump on him because it wasn’t to your satisfaction) but yet you still, two years later, make excuses and dismiss the fact that Ed checked out of the program after 2019 and drove it further into the ground.

Very strange indeed.

I digress. What is your problem with Daniels? He played extremely well in that game yesterday.

I don’t understand why you’re so “annoyed.”

That’s not what happened though. We had the 1st half to take control and jd didn’t play like he did this past sat. Nobody has an issue if he plays more like that. Decisive is the word we are looking for

Twice he threw it deep to Nabers, twice Nabers had to slow down, alter his route to catch it.

The poster you’re responding to is nitpicking because Daniels was superb yesterday, especially in the intermediate routes which I’m absolutely pumped about. When he’s hitting those, this team could be special.
