Jay looks exhausted. He probably didn't sleep at all Sunday night.

He said in pregame radio interview on Friday that he used AE (on Friday) mainly because he could bounce back quicker than Anderson.

While that is probably true, kade also went down to the pen last night

I agree Evans was the guy, just wish he had been brought in one batter sooner

There’s a big difference in suggesting a lineup change pre game and some of the melting that goes on here during the game.

There’s multiple posters who had a full blown panic attack calling for Jay to be fired in the 2nd inning.

This place has become completely toxic during games. I honestly try to avoid here during them.

Solid post. Completely agree

Sure! Why would anyone come to tiger RANT and vent frustrations while their beloved team is getting embarrassed in National television by the worst team to make the regionals in the history of the sport!
Crazy…especially for a fan base as cool calm and collected as LSU’s!

we all need to understand is that he does know more about his team and the other team than we do.

"Anticipating this situation"...and this was back at Hoover. That's how far ahead of any situation that CJJ is planning his game plan. How many "experts" here were thinking about pitching in a regional?

dude is thinking about the game in ways this board just doesn't. I mean, its literally his job and this board works real jobs for a living. its not possible to know more than him if you dont do this as a full time job

He’s better at his job than 99.9% of the posters here are at theirs, including me. Yet we still have people acting like they know more than he does about the game.

It’s amusing.

Yeah you caught that from Jay…

Paraphrasing…“That’s one of the reasons I brought in Ant in Hoover… so that in the regional it wasn’t the first time he was doing that (coming in late to close a game)”

Jay is weeks ahead of all of us

With pricks like Corbin and KOS out there, we’re lucky to have such a class act as a coach.
Idk him personally but he gives off the vibe that it’s sincerely not just about a paycheck for him. He honors the great coaches and players who came before him here, he always speaks up LSU and our fans in a positive light, and never throws players under the bus. The guy gets LSU Baseball.

Well, a lot of us were, but we weren’t thinking about Eyanson relieving on Monday night.

He’s nowhere near as good a coach as I am a retiree; and you can take that to the bank!

Describe what you consider venting vs simply shitting on the team, coaches, and players.

Saying I don't understand the coach's decision right there or he needs to pull Cowan now, etc., is fine. Saying Jay needs to be fired, or he sucks as a coach, and so on is not venting, it's being a bitch.

Or saying maybe Jones is struggling and should be lower in the batting order, or asking at what point Reaves needs a shot over Brazz for offense is fine. Saying Jones needs to be benched, or have his scholarship pulled, saying Brazz has no business being on the team, and so on is histrionic at best.

Saying this is not a very good team is purely stupid.

All of those things have been said in game threads and worse. It's not something you say about a "beloved team". And baseball is just an embarrassing game at times. It is the most humbling of team sports IMO.

If you're venting in a way that is simply venting and not denigrating the team or coaches, no problem. If you're just spewing venom all over the team, coaches, and players, don't give me the "fans are just venting" BS.

Of course, that is just my opinion, but I think a lot of long-time fans are kind of tired of some of the constant vitriol that shows up every time the team has struggles.
