You can believe one thing ole Paul isn’t going throw a right handed pitcher unless he absolutely has to. Neither would I.

I feel like I'd start Noot on Thursday. Maybe Ware

He could also go back to Shores.

Dude left LSU in 01 or whatever and had like 1-2 lefties on staff. Crazy times

There was zero lefties on the staff.

Who gives a crap about Pitching Rotation for the SEC tournament.
Don’t let any Ace pitch. Have them fresh & rested for the Regional!!!

He’s who I’d like to see start Thursday. Quick leash if he doesn’t do well, but if he’s serviceable for a few innings to get a lead, then let him go

Very probable

Ah I see. Even then if we take care of business this weekend we could still pitch whoever on Thursday anyway of the SEC Tournament. Doesn’t have to be Anderson

Actually, I don't think you see. If we take care of business this weekend, we won't be playing on Thursday (unless Texas gest swept). .

I’m getting the downvotes because I made a mistake on the year but when Paul left our pitching was a disaster with little to no lefty’s. It was nuts

So the question becomes does he do the same next week in Hoover? We will play on Thursday, and if he holds Anderson and Eyanson to Fri-Sat again, a loss on Thur ends our SECT. Not that we would necessarily NEED a win in Hoover.

Win 2 games this weekend and Hoover doesn't matter. Both Anderson and Eyanson would be on short pitch counts for Hoover

19-11 was fine to get a top8 in the past. But there's a shot (though small) that 6 SEC teams finish 19-11 or better, and I have a hard time believing the committee makes 6 SEC teams top8 seeds. I think at most they select 5 (with 2 ACC and 1 other)

If Tennessee wins 2/3 at Arkansas
If LSU wins 2/3 at USC
and if UGA (vs atm), Auburn (at OleMiss), and Vandy (vs UK) sweep, all 5 are at 19-11 (plus Texas)

6 SEC teams being in the top 8 is a definite possibility

I think we are a lock for a top 8 seed, unless we get swept or something.

I'd like us to win 2. 18 wins is usually pretty good but when you're 6th in the conference in RPI and you had the benefit of playing Mizzou and USC it gives the committee to a reason to choose a team like auburn or vandy above us. Adding the fact that auburn swept us head to head doesn't help either.

Agree. I think we need to win 2. And we will. I like holding our 2 best pitchers.

I’m expecting a SEC team in 14/16 regionals w as many as 6 in the top 8

There is no reason the SEC should get 14 teams in the tournament.

A&M may have sealed its fate last weekend but if they sweep this weekend I don’t see them being left out. If the win the weekend and a game or two in the tourney, they are in. Certainly a possibility IMO
