They will have to earn their spot on the roster.
To the extent that this crowds out the Brady Neal type players, it’s good. To the extent that it crowds out Ashton Larsons, it sucks.

This coach goes hard after national championships of which they have 2 in 3 years. Time for you to get off the train if you can’t handle the moves he makes.

Losing Larson does suck but the coach is bringing in the best players he can. Competition will sort out the starters.

This sounded cooler in your head

Because you are used to most LSU coaches just coasting and collecting a paycheck after they win a title. Jay never stops. He’s always wanting more.

If you cant handle the smooth moves that Jay makes then…….

Larson was given ample opportunity to secure a spot. It didn’t work out. He didn’t get crowded out. He made a choice and I hope he does well.

Yep, LSU baseball promotes another arm from its 'farm system'.

im not saying this directly to you but your post made me think this.
this board is so ridiculous sometimes, everyone is now talking about how great Jay is but about two months ago he was being called Jay orgeron. do yall really think he just turned into a different and better coach after the last 2 months or so, or has he been a great coach the whole fricking time.
obviously its the latter

That wasn't some poplar opinion or widely held belief at the time. Lets not re-write history. That idiot was called out and downvoted massively.

I was just playing off, a few folks wanted to get rid of Woody. The guy knows what he’s doing.

As of now I don’t see any Anderson or Eyanson type starters for next year. Nobody else has that type of dominance yet. So let’s pump the offseason brakes.

Evans will make that jump... he was basically there this year

They weren’t that type of starter last year either. Evans this season was better than both of their previous seasons.

Based on his 2024 performance, you saw Anderson's 2025 season production coming at this time last summer?
