Jay just said that they had to pop his shoulder back in place. He will be sore. Like I said when I first posted, he will be out to rest but it’s the best case scenario.

He is intentionally vague on injuries though usually

Tommy’s leads are going to look like softball players from here on out

Needs to strengthen those stabilizers and shorten his leads off 1st.

Blew up and watched the video a dozen+ times. Not seeing any shoulder impact. Only wrist.

If you didn't see any shoulder impact, I don't know what to tell you.
I mean, just pay attention to baseball and you'd know that shoulder injuries are much more common when sliding into the bag.

This is tRant in a nutshell. OP posts good news and within minutes it's a complete mess.

people on this board were swearing it was a hand or wrist.
SHE initially said it was a wrist. Anyone watching could clearly see it was a shoulder issue.

I think the silver lining is that he’s had this injury before.
It’s easier to dislocate again after an initial dislocation.

And Lyn said hand when it happened.

Yall give her a hard time, but she isn't that bad. Certainly better than what we had.

Whew doggie - that's good news I tell you what.

Wrist injuries in baseball typically happen when they turn the wrong way. His wrist was in perfectly fine position on the slide. In fact, had it turned inward, it may have protected the shoulder some.
Looked just like his shoulder dislocation at NC State. Same side, same movement, similar reaction.
Now we just have to make sure it was just a pop back in, rest, and go thing. Worst case is some structural issue (even if not an tear) that requires a procedure. If it's popped out twice now, even with no structural damage, he may need to wear a brace permanently (could inhibit his throwing) or need a basic procedure (more time off, but not season ending).

Just because she wouldn't go out with you, it's no reason to call her names.

It’s an injury that he came here with. I forget the exact name of it. He should be good to go soon
