I don't know. Vitello was at the top of my list. But, I honestly can't imagine being more impressed at this point than I am with Coach J. He's said and done everything 100% right so far. He looks like a rock star. Hopefully it translates to the field the same way.

That’s a coach that has his hands and head wrapped around things… exudes nothing but confidence in his voice and mannerisms… love it!!!

I forgot Vitello existed. Guy is so overrated because of the whole whiz kid reputation when he’s actually like 50 and just looks young. Literally a year younger than Jay Johnson and has way less coaching experience and only 1 elite season under his belt. The Tom Herman of baseball, he will not go down as a consistent great when it’s all said and done, he’s a total unknown at this point and would’ve been a worse hire than Jay Johnson
