I’d hope that the ones that wanted someone else would pull for the new hire. I’m excited for the new coach. Our fan base should be excited over our “new energy”.

I wonder how many people are in the room.

And how many of the people in the room were pushing for someone else to be hired and are bitter.

Glenn Guilbeau is probably in the back of the room shitting his pants that its not Bianco at the mic

Just saw the intro to WBRZ and it's Manierri introducing our new coach. This is walking in the middle of the road like Mr. Miagi warned us about in Karate Kid...squish just like grape.

Paul needs to leave...period. This sticking around for all this warm fuzzy transitioning feel-goods need to end.

Why? Because it hurts your delicate sensibilities?

Clearly you have no clue as to how much value a smooth transition can provide to the incoming regime.

Because Paul has not exactly run a well-oiled machine in the last decade. I found him to be somewhat lazy and content in his decision making and I don't want him to stick around. Got that buttercup?

Honestly, my thought was Nola given that DJ was his very next name (and it's kinda hard to not group the two here).

While results matter more than his words, I don't know how anyone could not be sold on this guy at this point. Kids are gonna run through walls for him. Now, Recruit. Develop. Win.

Having two former NC coaches to rely on for advice ain’t gonna hurt. I’m sure he’s not going to be asking when to hit and run but even if it’s just how to approach this issue with a player or talking to local coaches… I don’t mind

Someone copy and save that clip of him saying he wanted to come here for the fan base. May need that later

You could have just left it at that. The rest is water under the bridge and, frankly, irrelevant.

People don't always get what they want, kid.

You can't get the girl just a little pregnant...not when you're talking about a multi-million dollar position and the excellence this program exhibited for 20 yrs. Yeah I'm not settling for warm-fuzzy transitioning. I want a clean break.
