Florida, yes. Alabama, joint effort. JL's main contribution being the 3rd down lob to RR.

Alot and I mean ALOT of worse qb's stick in the NFL because of the financing and the need for 3 qb's on the roster.

He will absolutely be invited to a camp and probably stick on a practice squad....then, who knows.

J Lee will have a longer NFL life then JJ, IMO...

Sorry, couldn't resist. But if you can't see he's just not that good, then you are just blinded by your man crush.

Wait, did someone really just post this?!?!
Newsflash: neither JL nor JJ will sniff the NFL, let alone have any length of a an NFL life to compare against each other. C'mon people.

Most likely.

I would have liked to seen him play more.

This is so old. I know you were just making a funny... but here's my point:

So Krags can correct all of JJ's problems, but he can't correct Lee's throwing off his back foot?

Double Standard man...I hate that.

Nobody knows this. I'd bet that some NFL coaches bring JL to camps/tryouts just because he has a good release and a decent arm. NFL coaching could do wonders for a guy like Lee. Nobody's saying he's going to be a star or even starter.. hell not even 2nd string but more along the lines of camp body and practice squad, which isn't a bad living. I think practice squad players make along the lines of $50k - $60k per year. A decent living to just go throw the football around in camp and practices.

I'd have probably given him the reins after WV. def. after UT.

but it's '11 and I wanna see JJ ball out. or get a quick hook if he's looking shitty again.

I was all for JL playing more as well, but he didn't turn the sports world on it's end when he got the chance. UF he lit it up, but he floundered as much as JJ.

Again, a QB coach is going to help BOTH of them. Book it.

Jefferson will improve enough under Krags.

I'm glad everybody else is sold on this.....I don't think Jefferson could have done what Lee did against Tennessee last year if his coach would have been Bill fricking Walsh.

I think we will need a quarterback not named Jefferson to step up in a big way this year.

Well to be fair he did have some rushing TDs. Without JJ/Lee combo, we don't make it to 11-2 imo. Then again, in reality if not for stellar STs and defense, accompanied with a solid run game, for most games we don't sniff double digit wins either. The fact is that neither of the 2 are consistent. They will each have good quarters or drives and then fall flat on their face in the next.

He pulled it out of his arse against Tennessee. The Florida game was Lee at his best.

since JJ runs he is going to take hits.

he will be sidelined now and then, maybe for a stretch of games.

We will need both JL and Mett before its all over, and Ware.

Also, I am a fan of the JL 2 minute drill, as opposed to JJ using up clock running, maybe 2-3 plays in the same time JL can march down the field and set up for a field goal.

JJ is awful. He better be happy Lee was there last year.
