Yo....it takes something to even pull that out of your arse to convert on those down and distances in that situation at the end of a game....Jefferson ain't got it from what I have seen.

So Krags can correct all of JJ's problems,

I've never said this. Does anyone really think this?

No, I don't think any coach can fix this. To me, it's more of a mental thing than a physical thing.

We lose to Florida but I love when Alabama gets thrown into that as well.

If Lee every played a game like Jefferson did against Alabama, the rant would have a statue erected.

Fear of getting hit maybe? Not being able to adjust to speed of the game perhaps?
To me, not being relaxed back there and constantly throwing off your back foot screams something is in the guy's head. Not sure why it's so funny.

A) It's not like Lee if the first quarterback to throw off of his back foot.

B) It is an issue that has been corrected by many NFL quarterbacks....nigh I say many of whom have competed at a high level in the biggest and best football league in the world.

Eli Manning.....is who I can come up with right off the bat.

Give me a sec I can think of some more.

ETA: I forgot about this one....compare Cam when he was playing at Florida to the Nat Champ game last year.....he still throws of off the back foot sometimes but it isn't nearly a problem like it was before

I also might have a man-crush for Jarrett Lee. I planned to go to fan day and Cycle through his line only for the entire period, but alas I will be in New Orleans for a bachelor party... such is life.

Regardless... there is no use in turning this into a JJ v JL pissing match because we haven't had this discussion before and don't need to start now.

Didn't Vick used to get in trouble/ throw picks from throwing off his back foot. Romo throws a lot falling down or with an actual hop back. I am pretty sure that the games I saw I didn't notice Vick throwing off his back foot, but I think Romo has actually been worse because for some reason he never wants to scramble to buy time.

Throwing off your back foot on a fade route or on a drop off route is different that throwing off your back foot on a post pattern in the middle of the field.

Eli Manning.....

I honestly don't recall a knock on him in college being that he constantly threw off his back foot.
I'm glad he tripped over his center's foot that one time, but besides that he always looked pretty confident in the pocket at Ole Miss from what I recall.

Cam

How can you compare Cam and J Lee? Cam could have the worst QB mechanics ever but it wouldn't matter as much because he can also run faster than most and he's huge. J Lee can't run at all. Might as well throw Mike Vick into your pool of examples then.

Too bad you can't say the same for most of the season and funny you would say that about a QB who threw more picks than touchdowns in 10'.

We would've had 4 losses last year without JL.
