I’m sorry but I think he needs to come back. I know he won’t but if he wants to make it to big leagues he should. The kid still swings at garbage.

Supposedly the MLB wanted to see him improve his defense. I’m not sure what they will want now.

Don't know about that, but he needs to move way down in lineup. Brown and Frey need to move up.
I could also see him sitting, let Frey play first have one on the Pierson go at DH. Needs something to get his head screwed on properly.

The book is kinda out… throw him something with movement off the plate. He will swing, he will whiff. I like him and he has real power but it’s just a fact. Last game, the pitcher threw 3 of the exact same pitch and 3 strikes.

That's not how this works.
Pitch recognition is something that they fix in the minors.

This. It really makes no sense him at 2. He doesn’t hit for average recently at all. Strikes out a ton. If anything let him potentially hit a bomb with runners on base.

After that last at bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd, another K should seal the deal to move him down in the lineup. JJ moved him up originally because he wanted to get his best hitters hitting more....well, he aint' that guy anymore so, by the same reasoning, he should move down to at least 6th and Standfield should move up. We are going to have to start scoring lots of runs going forward.
