Jared Jones deserves a one game suspension

In my humble opinion Jones should be benched for one game for his behavior after hitting his second home run today. Some things are more important than winning baseball games. I like the kid and will still pull for him to do well but these kids need to be taught to have some class also!! I big wide grin while staring down the pitcher would have gotten under his skin way more than what he did.

This team needed a little juice. Tommy has been the only consistent intimidator in this lineup with Skenes and Guidry adding some of late. Surely this wasn’t just one-sided. Kentucky/the pitcher likely deserved what they got.
Let’s just be glad we have a true freshman that can hit rockets out of the park while wheelbarrowing his nuts around the bags.

A suspension??? Maybe the Kentucky players (hitters and pitchers) should also have been given warnings by the umpires IN ALL THREE GAMES for running their mouths at our players. If they can dish it out, they should be able to handle it when it is given back to them later in a game. Why should our boys be the only ones receiving these warnings? I may not like Jared's choice of words, but I am certain that it was no worse than what the Kentucky players were saying the entire series. Geaux Tigers!

Man I think sometimes these players say a bunch of shite to each other and there is a tipping point and we all get there. Maybe coach says something to him maybe not. Jay knows what’s what and who is talking shite to who. This ain’t Paul.
