Let’s take a minute to appreciate this gem. Tigers end up winning 5-4 in extra innings.

Probably ranks #2 in my memory behind Warren Morris CWS Championship walk off for LSU baseball moments.

It's like he was lifted up by an angel in the outfield

I remember watching that in such disbelief. LSU lost that series if I remember correctly, and that catch helped from getting swept.

He was a big time athlete who seemed to have a knack for making tremendous plays...but he never got consistent playing time for whatever reason

Just an insane play overall in the most clutch fashion. I remember watching it in real time and being amazed that he somehow caught that ball

The Ray Wright catch in the 2000 World Series robbed a homerun and saved 2 runs in the national title game.

I'll always remember this one.

Ray Wright saves 2 runs

I was there in left field. Absolutely nuts, all the Faggies were pissed.

Me too. I was sitting in left field bleachers at that game with two friends and my 8-year old son. That catch was awesome.

I was there too but unfortunately my view of the catch was obstructed by the berm in LF.

IIRC Nola started and pitched a gem for 8 innings and our bullpen blew the lead in the 9th.

There were lots of Aggies with dropped jaws. Nothing new there.
