Chase hasn’t played in a year. Is he still best WR prospect or has others passed him this season?

I'm not saying you are wrong for the individual, but you don't find something inherently unbecoming to see the best guys QUIT on their teammates simply because they have a better opportunity to play at the next level? I don't think I could join a team. Work and compete with my teammates and friends. Only to then say BEFORE the season "frick it! I'm too good for you guys. Handle it your self"
Maybe you couldn't - but talk is cheap when you aren't faced with real world scenarios involving a lifetime's worth of money.

Remember the rant saying Devonte Smith would be picked higher than Chase and the rant actively rooting for a Bama player to be picked over a LSU player just so they could be right?

I think you underestimate the career earnings of an engineer

TLDR

At 300K a year it would take 50 years to hit 15 million in career earnings.

If he got a $9M signing bonus and just threw it in the bank collecting interest, an engineer could make $200k/year for 45 years and not catch up.

My personal opinion is both of them should have been able to go pro after their sophomore season so it is well within their rights to not play if they're comfortable with their draft status.

That being said opting out the week you're playing the no. 1 team in the country and your teams biggest rival is just brutal, especially weeks after a rah rah speech that you're staying with the team. Just brutal.

No they did not. They made selfish choices.

Not really !! He doesn't create alot separation. Kiper has him 8th ranked WR for a reason. He will be a late 2nd maybe early 3rd. All these 40 times are blown up because it hand held. Marshall wouldn't be a good pick in the 2nd because if we go We need a guy like Moore from Our. The kid from Louisville would be great fit. Marshall will be a response pos wr

Any man that gets upset or disappointed by another mans decisions needs to soul search. We chose jobs and switch jobs all the time...no one cares. We switch religions, political parties and even girlfriends and wives...no one should care about the choices of another man. On Saturday, my tigers take the field with or without one or two individuals...doesn’t bother me one bit!

Marshall schooling Surtain a few times vs Bama would have helped his stock into 1st round status.

Other than that, I don’t blame them both.

He's really 6'3, measures in at 6'2 6/8", so with shoes on he's over 6'3.

Marshall just quit on his team at the end.

I don't see how saving his body from injury when there's life changing money on the line is quitting. The dude literally had a pretty big injury just last year and in his senior year of high school. Why risk it when you are a few months away from being a millionaire?

NFL Scout Daniel Jeremiah already said that some past injury concerns for him might drop him out of the first round.
