Will Jamal serve better playing SS or FS in the NFL? Part of me wants to say he would be a better FS because of his coverage skills

I don't think he can do the single high FS role, but he could be a regular FS or any type of SS.

This. He's good enough to do anything a Safety needs to do but he will excel at covering TEs, backs, and playing near the LOS. He's a chess piece that can be used in a variety of ways.

He could very well be the best player in the entire draft.

That would be Myles Garrett.

Garrett is the most physically gifted player in this draft class. I'm not sure he's the best player though.

Adams lacks the ball skills to be the best player in the draft . He's more like Kenny vaccaro then earl Thomas

People are going to seem shocked when it takes Garret 2 or 3 years to be effective for 3-4 downs. That's not 1st pick worthy IMO.

His physical attributes make him look better than he is. Barnett is the more NFL ready of the 2. Key is even more complete that Myles. Some GM is about to make a big mistake.

You can, but NFL GMs won't. Peppers is a tweener that will be drafted much later than Adams.

Peppers is also only 5'8".

I thought he would run a 4.4, but that's still a solid time. He should concentrate on running for a 4.4 at LSU's pro day.

I think Peppers has the potential to be very ordinary in the NFL. He doesn't have measurable that leap out at you. Had ONE Int, and ZERO forced fumbles in his entire career at Michigan.

GMs know that Peppers is like a Cam Chancellor but faster.

Peppers is 6'3 and hits like a linebacker? News to me.

That's slow for him IMO

4.5 is fast i don't know why the standard for speed is a 4.3

4.5 range is plenty fast enough for a safety...especially one that will be playing around the box a lot.

I think he could was given credit as a 4.48-4.49 out of HS if I recall.

Put on 10 lbs or so and seems spot on to me.

Combine has Adams at 6'0" even. Is that an official height? I know a lot of these guys measure shorter than what they are listed at in college.

That time is a little disappointing to me but it's still fine for s SS. That's where I would put him in any defense. He would cover RBs and TEs or even drop back into coverage like a FS if necc. We all know that he's a thumper against the run.

To me a great 40 time can be deceiving. Lighter guys won't always be able to translate good track speed onto the football field with pads on and still keep their agility while stronger guys like Adams and Fournette aren't effected at all.
