The extra time in the film room helps a lot!

Yep. Also helps that the players are allowed to watch film now of their opponents.

When it was reported that they didn't watch film, I couldn't believe it.

you can see Adams recognizes the formation, runs to the opposite side of the formation before the snap(away from the strong side/his responsibility), and makes the play.

how do you know what his responsibility was?

So is it your position that Les prevented the players from watching film?

Still being a jackass even though Les is gone huh?

The players themselves said they didn't watch much film on their opponents, which is ridiculous.

Les was shitty at his job his last few years. Deal with it.

One of the best safetys around the LOS I've ever seen. His only issues seem to be in coverage, but he's still above average at

A bunch of really good tight ends didnt catch shite against him all year. That will be most of his responsibility at the next level. Evan Engram, Hickulik, and OJ Howard were eliminated from the game when they played LSU.

You couldn't believe it because it didn't happen.

He made another great play earlier when he ran the width of the field to make a solo tackle on the Heisman Trophy winner.

Think you're referring to this one. Similar pre-snap read by him it looks like, then he chases him down. Truly unreal.

He read his keys and made the play. Good things happen when everyone does their job.

who is the dumbass that down voted this? At least be a man and show yourself. We have a DC that is all about every man doing their assignment yet some of yall think our safety is ignoring the coaches and running all over the field. The most likely explanation is he was taught to line up on that side when they were in that formation or he lined up incorrectly to begin with...not that he just abandoned his assignment on his own.

Because it's impossible that his assignment was the H-back and he recognized that a shovel pass was coming, right?

I'm merely pointing out how stupid the Les hate is. Two posters declared that the team didn't watch film, not that they might have watched it less.

Bust on the man for what his real drawbacks might have been not for some shite that some one makes up trying to be cool. Only to end up looking like a dumbarse when called on it.

If any body but me recalls, one of the knocks against Harris when he was a freshman was that he didn't like to watch film. So apparently some film study was going on.

that would make it his responsibility correct? the op said away from his responsibility...which is what i questioned.

Unless you are the DC or a player on the defense you have no idea what JA responsibilities were on that play.

If the H-back was his responsibility he did go away from it. He went to the opposite side of the formation without any motion from the H-back. So, again, it could be that he saw something that tipped the play, which is what it looks like.

You're going out of your way to discredit Adams on this play for some weird reason.

Just watch the gif. You can see who's matched with who.

The corners are in man. Battle is the single high safety playing center. Bower is keyed on the TE. Alexander is keyed on the RB. Key is keyed on Jackson. That leaves either Riley or Adams to key on the H-back with one probably as a spy in case Jackson gets loose.

Whether he was the spy or on the H-back, Adams vacates the strong side right before the snap and ends up right where the play is being run. That doesn't usually happen by accident.

I think he has one hell of a coach and film study. I hope it wasn't instinct that sent him to the weak side...i hope it was coaching just because i want that in the future
