Maybe he is innocent and wanted to enjoy HIS ONE OPPORTUNITY to get out of BR for the year... Or maybe he was visiting friends/family out of town and was not charged at the time so did not find the need to come in. Lots of what ifs we do not know, but are totally probable, could apply.

Just going by how I've seen him act out in public. Some people you can just tell.

It's kind of expected for them to defend a fellow teammate.
But it's not expected that the victim's friend side with her? You people need to make up your mind with this shite.

First, you would stop and contact your attorney. Second, you would figure out someway to get your arse back to BR and get this situation sorted out.

You can tell what? What have you seen him do?

On ESPN.com it says LSU suspends Mills.
Of course he is. Every major university suspends a student athlete indefinitely (at least until the legal process ends) when the student athlete is taken into custody on charges. Its standard operating procedure.

he's within his legal rights not to talk to investigators. it's smart to do so. i don't know why this is so hard to understand for people. he very well could have spoken with his attorney. i'd almost bet he did. and his attorney could have said "do not speak with police," and that would be sound legal advice.

Police take him into custody on June 11th at 2 AM
For the record I think with the facts at hand Jalen should have been arrested. However is it standard to do this at 2 AM? Seems a little bit crazy imo

When he spoke with the BRPD investigator in May, he was in Houston. BRPD says fine come talk to us at 5pm on the 10th. He doesn't show up or answer his phone yesterday afternoon/evening and is arrested.
Again, there was no need for him to go to the meeting with the police.

You're the only person in this thread condemning him for being in Houston. It makes no difference and it doesn't make him a bad person. He wasn't charged with anything at that point. They just wanted to sit down with him and hear his side. Maybe the kid can't afford to drop everything and make a round trip to Baton Rouge, or maybe he was in the middle of family activities. In any case, there was nothing wrong with him just telling them he'd be back on a certain day, and it definitely has no bearing on the case. Get off your pedestal

so how did he act when you saw him to make you automatically think he was guilty of punching a girl in the face?

Clearly you do not understand an LSU football players schedule. This one month (roughly) is most likely their only opportunity to get out and do something. Between Spring and Summer semesters is the only time a lot of out of state guys get a chance to even go home. Once summer starts, they are in class and doing conditioning. That goes directly into fall camp and semester. That goes directly into the regular season. That goes directly into bowl season. You get a half a week for Christmas. Back to campus for final bowl prep and game. Return for spring semester classes and spring camp. Time off from spring to summer school. Repreat cycle.
But there are lots of reasonable and logical reasons as to why Mills did stay out of town.

On Tiger talk Lynn Rollins came up with a list of sec schools with the most arrest in their atheletic department. Number one was Georgia, and LSU was second/third from the bottom just ahead of Vandy. Looks like LSU might bed moving on up. Side note. Bitches be crazy.
