He was in Houston up until yesterday. And likely didn't want to do or say anything without a lawyer, which is smart and 100% legal.

I understand him waiting for his attorney. Hanagriff went on a rant about him staying in Houston while this whole situation unfolded.

This is what I'm talking about. You feel the need to weigh in without even knowing the reported events. Solid...

But to answer your question, Mills told authorities he was out of town in Houston until June 9th. Authorities said they wanted to have a meeting on June 10th when he returned to town. Mills no shows on the 10th. Why? Possibilities are endless... Scared, advised not to, awaiting legal representation, forgot, got back to town late, etc. Police take him into custody on June 11th at 2 AM. He was located at his apartment in BR at that time. So now we are where we are. You should probably learn the topic at hand before giving commentation or passing judgement.

ETA: The incident/event in question occurred back in May.

Seems like some of the other players are chiming in and implying that the girls are lying in some form and dragging Mills along for the ride. Don't know if they actually know anything, but here's some of their tweets (*Note: really sorry to bring twitter into this ...just thought it was interesting and might shed light since they know Mills better than any of us do):

Kwon Alexander:

quote:

"These females be wilding out I swear!! Lying ahh females !!"

quote:

"Somebody always tryna mess over us !! Just let us be !!!"

Kenny Hilliard:

quote:

"These females will get you caught up man"

quote:

"If you look at some of these athletes down fall it's bc of women and drugs"

* And I don't think Hilliard is implying drugs were involved in this situation. Just a general statement.

I know the situation. Mills staying out of town while this unfolds is just sketchy as frick. No normal citizen would be given that kind of privilege if what he was accused of is actually true.

yes they would. he wasn't charged with anything and didn't have a court order not to leave the state. it's wasn't a privilege at all.

What has he done for you to say this? Did I miss something?

It's kind of expected for them to defend a fellow teammate.
