Of course, internally they know it's a "big game". You're right. The scheduling of the bye week ahead of it is clear indication of that.
HOWEVER, Saban doesn't allow (or at least tries desperately to) that mindset among his players. The reason is to ensure his team prepares just as hard for say, Ole Miss, as they do for LSU. If LSU is considered a big game for which they need to prepare extra hard then by contrast Ole Miss isn't a big game and they don't have to prepare as hard. When the same standard is set for EVERY team on the schedule then you diminish the risk of a let down. That approach may cause you to beat the dog shite out of Ole Miss and beat LSU by 3. But it prevents you from showing up disinterested against a bad Tennessee team and getting upset

I'm not sure when it was said, but Guice was quoted saying "that they have to stack the box against LSU. They are scared." It's literally posted in their weight room.

Whatever man. We get bamas best every year. They get up for this game. That's why we don't see let downs from Bama. Every year they struggle at least once vs an ole miss or Arky. But Lsu is a game tbey get hyped up every year for.

It is allowable hence correct but the s' is still preferred, particularly with proper nouns. ETA: Upon further review, I stated exactly opposite of the correct statement, s' would be for plurals, not possesive of a proper noun. s's is in fact the correct MLA usage. Thanks Mo Jeaux
Either way, I understood what you meant, which is the real goal of proper grammar anyway. Now quit making fun of us old people!
