This is a video of a few different Bama players talking about the game. Jalen Hurts just seems to have no respect for our program. This is the second interview I've seen where a reporter asks about playing LSU and his comments are along the lines of "it's a big game for them, but not for us". Basically insinuating that LSU gets hyped for this game but they really don't care.

Yeah I know, we lost to Troy and we haven't beat them in 6 years but every other player shows LSU respect and mentions how this game is physical and that it's a big game. He's the only one with that arrogant tone of "LSU is to far beneath us to worry about."

I hope Devin White, Arden Key, and Rashard Lawrence break that little prick in half.

i'm happy that this is not a big game for them.

that's why we'll win.

If you have taken an English class in the last 15 years you'd know that the 's after a word ending in S is considered correct either way similar to the Oxford comma before the word "and" at the end of a list.

You're wrong. His usage of the possessive case was perfectly acceptable, and is probably the more standard usage.

Sounds like he's just buying into Saban's process.

Every game is equally important. No highs and no lows. This creates consistency.

Right, it should just be another game.

Worst thing you could do is hype this game up as the biggest of the year and then go out and lose it in humiliating fashion. How do you get up for the rest of the games on your schedule after that?

I'd agree if that was his tone. His tone wasn't "we respect every opponent equally" it was more of "The King doesn't worry about the feelings of the peasants"

He's right. Alabama thinks about LSU like LSU thinks about A&M. Until we present a challenge to them, that will remain the case. LSU needs to get Alabama the frick out of their head and focus on themselves. You can't become elite again with inferiority complex.

While he usually didn't lose to Bama in humiliating fashion, this is why we always sucked post-Bama with Les Miles.

He hyped the game up so much to players, so after we lost, no one gave a frick about Arkansas.

Would you honestly have respect for LSU's program if you were Alabama?

You sound soft.

In Alabama's case. It's the truth.

Except we do present a challenge to them unlike A&M. We coulda/shoulda won at least twice during tis 6 game slide (2012 & 2014) and we took them to the wire last year.

We are legit the only team that matches them physically most years and he's acting like they've beat us by 45 six times in a row.

For whatever reason, arrogance gets under my skin more than anything else and I feel like he's not being calm and collected or taking everything one game at a time, he's being dismissive of LSU.

After watching the interviews, who said Alabama was scared to play LSU??? I’ve never heard that brought up. Was it supposedly said by players? Media?
