Those are kinda like long handoffs, not actual passes

They conceded the dink and dunk passing to keep him the pocket. Essentially what Aub did… he just threw the ball more

That's not the issue. The issue is the throws he never made. He waits until he has a clearly open receiver. It seems he's worried more about stats and his future in the NFL. He won't have one if he's not willing to throw the ball and take some risks.

I don't care what any stat says about him. Yes he has wheels but that's a young man afraid to throw the ball.

In trying to protect from turning the ball over and losing the game…he’s failing to sustain drives and get in the endzone…which loses games.

It doesn’t matter what your completion rate, yards are, when you score 13. You’re not gonna beat any teams in the SEC. So, that’s the reason people aren’t pleased with the performance, 300 yards and 13 points, not good point production for that many yards but that’s exactly what Tennessee would be happy with.

It doesn’t help when Everytime something good happens and we get in a groove we get a procedure penalty. It’s absolutely rediculous

Geezus. One cannot fix stupid. He is an absolutely awful QB. In fact, calling him a QB is using that term very loosely.

Meaningless!! I can point to one series in the 2nd half where he completed a pass for 4 yd loss and the next play for a 1 yd loss. those are nothing but stat stackers for people to point to. Meaningless!

You are stupid. Burrow showed what could be. The endless train of lousy QBs at LSU is tiresome. Tiger Nation has had enough of it…counselor.

He just needs to throw it more. He is either too worried about an INT and needs a big window, or he just cant make his pre snap and struggles with his reads post snap and ends up holding the ball too long.

It wasn't JD. If we had 200 yrd rushing, instead of 50, and a decent defense, we win.

I saw one attempt to go over top and Bootie was too slow and had no route running to get separation.

He is catching some flak and that comes with the territory when your team gets beat 40-13. However, Jaden Daniels’ completion percentage last night was over 71%. That is a perfectly respectable completion rate and good enough to win most games (which we have).

We need to delve a little deeper into the stats than Comp %.

Daniels is 3rd in the SEC in Completions. He is DEAD LAST (14th out of 14) in Yards per attempt. He cannot, will not, has not pushed the ball down the field despite having argueably the best WR group in the SEC...

A number of you folks probably watched the game on TV. Go to a game like yesterday and see the WRs downfield waving their arms and he does not throw it. And to be honest if you read between the lines BK is frustrated with it too. I just dont know what it will take to make a change or if he sees this as a development year.

Hendon Hooker did not light the world on fire last year either but he did not have this mental block that JD has.

I figure JD came to LSU because he knew he needed development to get to the NFL. He wont even get an UDFA invite if he doesnt get that YPA up.

Our OC and QB do not work well together. Receivers look unprepared with many drops, Daniels not hitting them when they are open, offense extremely lackluster. Bring back tJuggs machine and 10k catches. Butter hands.

Yep 7 out of 10 ain’t bad against their 3rd string in garbage time when they weren’t covering the middle of the field. Good try

This is a bullshite line that keeps getting repeated. JD had 180 yards and was completing 70% of his passes in the first half. JD is not great and I’m not saying he is. But y’all are twisting yourselves into knots trying to discount his ‘ok’ stats bc you are in love with the backup qb. We have many reasons to bitch and JD isn’t at the top of them. We are 5-1 with decent special teams. We are 7th in the sec rushing and our qb accounts for 35% of that.

That doesn’t reflect the balls he didn’t throw. Those we actually MORE important to the teams success.

OK buddy keep hanging on to that meaningless completion%. He's dead last in yards per attempt.. String two ideas together.
