So? I mean I hope everyone recovers, but I don't see why that should delay the game if everything's good to go with the stadium, the city of BR, and assuming UNT can get down here. I guess less people will be travelling here from Nola, but why punish the players by either taking away a game or giving them a short week before UW because some people 80+ miles away don't have power?

Don't mean to come off as a heartless son of a B, but if we got the green light from everyone who has a say so then let's do this thing.

Unless the team and staff are full of electricians that can help get power back, this doesn't make sense to me. It's not a moral delima in my opinion.

You don't play the game if the hurricane is on it's way or during the hurricane. You don't play the game if access to stadium and power are affected. Other than that makes little sense not to play if their is minimal damage in BR and no safety issues to deal with. Game ON.

It is more than just the stadium being OK.
1. Can UNT get here on time? The airport in New Orleans and BTR are still closed; and the storm is moving north which will affect land travel.
2. Parking - where will fans park if all grass lots are not available due to the rain?
3. Tailgating - same issue as #2.

Yeah I think the game will be played. BR was spared for the most part besides the usual few trees down and power outages. But it looks like its done now. So they will have all day today and tomorrow to get whatever needs to be done fixed up

I'm with you it needs to be postpone.

So do you think the people that got a little damageand are huge LSU fans would want them to cancel because they lost power?

If anything this game would clear theilr minds for a while. People are such pussies. If this was catastrophic, yes....cancel. It wasn't. A handful of people that I'd be willing to bet would say "play!" received major damage. Most didn't.

How in the heck does not playing help those affected by Isaac? I'm in Metairie without electricity, and I say, PLAY.

I went up to LSU to see my lab today. It's not bad, and imho they will play. BR doesn't seem that bad either, live by campus and we didn't lose power or have any damages.

Airports will be open by Friday.

The storm isn't a hurricane anymore. A weakening tropical storm.

Besides, is North Texas bringing a bunch of fans?

Decision hasn't been made.

Why? There won't be much difference between Saturday and Sunday regarding restoring power and clean up.

24 hours could make a significant difference for this season ticket holder. Let's just respectfully disagree.
