We got so many receivers that are in line for playing time. You'll see Jacoby a lot in his sophomore year.

Off topic, anyone see Todd Harris out there?

Maybe coach O didn't realize he was a 5 star. Call in during his show and remind him.

Maybe because he's a safety that switched to WR a month and a half ago, and he wasn't ready?

exactly. He switched positions to WR and is behind some very talented WR's right now on the depth chart.

When the players show up on campus, their high school recruiting stars mean nothing anymore. So, he may have been our highest "rated" recruit, but that means nothing when it comes to who is ready to contribute and who isn't.

If we that much talent at WR then he needs to move back to safety because he was recruited as a 5 star safety.

Coach O said that Harris is one of our best special teams players. I can't imagine Jacoby not being one of them too.

Indeed, I think the OP is full of crap. I'd be very surprised if one or the other didn't play on special teams, and if he means play wide out, well then he needs to understand that no one is entitled. Coach O gave him a shot to play the wide out position so he would have a better shot at seeing the field, but like everyone else he still has to earn it.

I am a bit disappointed at not seeing stevens play a bit. i do not see any reason that we would redshirt him. understanding the playbok could limit plays but all he has to know is one play to get hs feet wet. from what i saw of highlights and reports from UU game just give him the ball in space. if we dont redshirt him then i dont understand him not getting his feet unless he is in the dog house or knicked or something i think that is weird tho and not just a learning curve thing i would think

honestly thought dillon looked the best. i have not seen him play or seen any film on him from practice. just these threads from people who did see him. but man he snatched both balls out of the air that i saw and looked legit quick fast for a tall guy turning it up field right next to the sideline, im exited about him maybe not as much this year but next year he is tall and seems crazy quick snatching those two balls out of the air i thought the most impressive and eye catching seemed at ease doing it

The tigers only threw the ball 18 times, maybe this week when they throw the ball more he will get some action.

First everyone was bitching that Stevens was moving because our WRs likely sucked and we needed him. Now people are bitching because we have plenty of depth and he couldn't get playing time in the very first game. My gawd make up yalls minds.

Answer is he will play when we actually need him. He can high point a ball better than most on the team. We might see him in this coming game, or in the State game. We'll see but he will play. Patience people.
