ETA: I don’t give a shite about them getting paid. They deserve being able to make money off of their image and brand. I just can’t stand all the transfers. I don’t want college off-seasons to feel like a free agent market.
That kid made a commitment to a university for at least a partial scholarship. I mean I’m glad he’s here and not playing for a rival, but it’s still fricked up he can just up and leave UA.

As best I know, the ability to transfer immediately is a one time deal. After this year, a player has to sit out the usual one year. Mea culpa if wrong.

The fact you use the word retard is very telling but anyway of course they notice and it might not be the sole reason for going to a school but if there are schools there you feel even about that could be the thing that swings it on the list for athletes that are going to gain the most is ones with most followers picking a school now has become a business decision
