I know some of the HBCUs were playing neck before LSU, but did LSU steal the STTDB as well or just the song?

And a bunch of African-American musicians stole Beatles songs like “Twist and Shout” and “Roll Over Beethoven”.

Well, that may be true at Jackson St. The LSU student section probably hasn't said "talking out the side of your neck b***" since 2010. Current LSU students probably think STTDB is the original.
