When McKinley committed to LSU, the expectation was that he needed some seasoning as most freshman before being ready to play a significant role along LSU's defensive front. However, when the Tigers elected not to pursue a defensive lineman in the portal aggressively, it made the need for McKinley to mature even quicker.

He made serious strides as a freshman and will make an impact this coming season for LSU. Excited to see what the young man can do.

Jack seems to have the leadership attributes and the mentality that LSU defense has been missing for a few years now.
Doesn’t just sound like generic player dialogue. I believe him when he says this defense will be different.

I love a crazy white boy on the football team. Jack gives me Lattimer vibes without the roids.

He looks like he could be John Cena's son.

I will absolutely agree that leadership was one of the missing aspects of this team last year on the defensive side. Weeks was still young. Brooks was gone and perkins got injured. It is greatly needed when things get tough. That is the one trait I see in this defense and a guy like Pyburn along with Weeks and Perkins will change the attitude of this team.can't wait to see it on the field.

Great interview, believe Jack is going to leave a lot of Florida fans scratching their heads about letting him out the door.
I also like Carter a lot, wouldn't mind hearing him on 104.5 they are in serious need of some enthusiasm in their shows.

Pyburn has the name and look of an 80s sports villain.

Dude seems legit w the way he talks and acts. He is ALL football! His confidence is off the charts. He also has experience and has been thru growing pains w injury, playing on special teams, little playing time, playing out of position, etc. Also said he wanted to go to a place where he could compete for a championship. Louisiana ties. Seems like a genuine/great teammate. Linebacker mentality. Says all the right things. Love his attitude. Contagious. Checks all the boxes for a great leader and player. Amazing that we could sway him away from the Florida Gators since they are predicted to be very good this season. One of my favorite Tigers already! .Can't wait for Clemson game. Tigers seem poised to compete for a championship. Let it happen. Geaux Tigers!

Pyburn is going to make everyone around him better. It's not just words. He has physically and mentally improved and he holds himself and others accountable. He has a Joe Burrow level of confidence.

This is reminiscent of Summer 2019 with Burrow predicting HUGE output from the offense. Nobody really thought much of it at the time.

Carter is quirky, but its genuine.
Love his content, especially his film breakdowns.

I agree.

If he had a producer he could probably cut those 1 hour + live podcast down to 25-30 minutes with more packed information and a shorter video. Sometimes I put his podcast on around 9:00 and lay on the couch to watch and end up falling asleep.

Preseason, I believe many people expected big things out of the 2019 offense. We knew what JJ could do and Chase was coming on strong at the end of the 2018 season.

I'm excited to see Pyburn in P&G.

And, to expand the conversation a bit since LBs and Perk have been mentioned, Kyle Williams coaching up the DLine can only help. A proven warrior and leader with just about every accolade except super bowl ring. He won't accept sloppy DLine performance which will absolutely benefit edge rushers and LBs.

Hope for this year's D- low [HIGH]

Dang! Call me impressed! This Tiger is intentional and I expect that is going to rub off on others, and it definitely fires me up. I am much more optimistic than I was before I watched this. Man I wish some of that intensity and intentionality could be absorbed my Perkins. He would be a 1st team AA if it did, imho.

I smiled when he said they’ll be physical and violent!
