Cool interview here with the Florida transfer. Gives his outlook on the defense (says it’s going to be violent and nasty) as well as naming Dom McKinley as a player who is flying under the radar.

I have been watching their workout videos for summer workouts and they look like they are getting after it more so than prior years. You can tell the team is close which is big because you need them to gel quickly.

if there are two things I’ve been wanting to see from LSU football, they are player leadership and physicality.
Jack seems to have the leadership attributes and the mentality that LSU defense has been missing for a few years now.
Doesn’t just sound like generic player dialogue. I believe him when he says this defense will be different.
And it seems like the coaches have done a good job targeting players willing to lead. It is a necessity.

Carter is quirky, but its genuine.
Love his content, especially his film breakdowns.

Honest question because I don’t know and haven’t followed:

Why did he leave UF?

he left because he felt like he was worth more than he was getting and he also wanted to be coached up into a guy thats not just a 2 down player. he had 1 sack at florida, hes trying to get drafted high and thats harder to do when you can't rush the passer

This guy is either a total meathead who is full of shite…OR we are about to see an amazing season from the defense. I tend to side with the latter.

This is reminiscent of Summer 2019 with Burrow predicting HUGE output from the offense. Nobody really thought much of it at the time.
