Cox coming back would be Cherry on top.

Dude with another stellar year under new DC would boost him to 1st round material imo.
If he returns along with deculous we ridin next year. Top 10 team for sure with that on paper.

Would be amazing if he came back but I just don’t see it happening. He’s started for 4 straight years in college

He will be one of the top 5 LBs taken in the draft. He's not coming back.

Why not stay and be the first LB taken next year

I believe he already said he is going to the NFL.

Respeck his decision.

Would be nice but he should go.

Glad that dude came this year. Can you imagine how much worse our shitty defense would have been without him?

It would have been bad. Baskerville and Cox stepped up big time. Especially since Clarke had a rough year.

Speaking of. Baskerville should be returning right? Isn’t he a junior. Don’t think he would be drafted but curious.

Any experts agree with you or is this your opinion? I’ve seen boards with damone Clark rated higher then him... don’t think he’s even a top 10 linebacker taken.. he will be drafted though

Todd McShay was talking him up pretty big during the Florida game.

No call to do this for this kid. He graduated one school. He came to LSU and played his heart out for one season like he promised to do.

McShay had him like 35th overall pick, but that’s an outlier. No one else has him anywhere near that,

Clark is still highly rated by draft guys because many feel he was playing out of place this year. Same with stevens. NFL guys are excited about stevens at LB, Clark at OLB, and cox as possible a safety tweener. What blows my mind is that it seems stevens should have been a LB for us this year and cox a safety. Yet here we are. Hahaha

Before the season, Kiper had Cox rated as the #15 overall prospect and McShay had him rated as #21 overall. I think it’s safe to say his stock has dropped since then, the only question is how much.

PFF had him at #80 overall (#7 LB) at the end of October. The truth is probably somewhere in between but he has the athleticism to justify being a top 5 LB off the board.

Irony is if he gets drafted before Dylan Moses.

So, McShay was saying that Saban gets mad at him and asks him to not rate his players too high so that it is easier for him the convince them to come back. Coach O needs to get on Todd's arse about this! Also makes you wonder if Saban also asks McShay to rate his rival's players higher so that they are more inclined to leave.

I really sense the momentum. The guys that stuck it out through the year bonded through the ups and downs and want another crack at it, and it really feels like they are excited with the coaching changes (maybe even have inside info on replacements).
