re: It's the starting QB role Brennan's to lose next year?

I’m a body language guy, and Myles clearly does not have the confidence yet. Hopefully a full offseason grants him that. He has all the physical tools

UT's D is pretty bad,
I don't know about that. As the reason why it was bad this season was cause it got decimated with injuries. I'm not sure it is so bad when it is healthy. It's going to be another very tough game again next season.
I hope Sam Ehlinger heads to the NFL.

The starter is going to be the guy the coaches think gives us the best chance of winning. It’s the same thing every year. They are not promising anyone a starting job.

Brennan will be very good. Not a Burrow good, but good.

He needs to increase
1) Natural Confidence
2) Touch on throws
I think he will with the helm, lots of work with experienced receivers, and Brady tailoring to his skillset

My biggest issue with Myles is he needs to throw with more touch. As all his balls are line drive fastballs and line-drive fastballs are often off their mark, easier for the opposing team to intercept, and harder for the receivers to run under and catch.
A lot of people perceive Joe Burrow as having a weak arm. However, he doesn't have a weak arm, he just knows how to throw with plenty of touch on the ball.

But Brennan does have a stronger arm. What that means is that Brady will change some things in the offense to capitalize on that. You might, for example, see more bubble screens. You might see some deep outs.
It really annoys me when people say that Brady "brought the Saints' offense to LSU." No, he didn't. Have you seen how often Drew Brees is under center? Have you seen how often they use a fullback?
What Joe Brady did was fully customize an offense to fit Joe Burrow's skillset. You'll see him customize an offense next year for Brennan. Some things will stay the same, but there will definitely be changes.

Brady does not work with QBs buddy. Brady works with the receiver corp. Which is why his job title is Passing Game Coordinator. Steve Ensminger is the coach who works with the QBs. As Steve Ensminger is the Offensive Coordinator, QB coach, and the designated LSU play-caller. However, Steve Ensminger is grooming Joe Brady to eventually take over as the Offensive Coordinator when he retires probably in another three or four years. I hope before he retires that he teaches Brady how to mentor QBs too.

Do receivers throw passes or QBs?? ?

Stronger arm or not, having a strong arm is useless unless it is accompanied with accuracy, with touch, and with timing.

Good luck with that, as Brady doesn't work with the QBs. He works with the receivers. As Ensminger is not only the LSU Offensive Coordinator and the designated LSU play-caller, but he is also the LSU QB coach.
As for as Brady bringing the Saints offense with him, he only brought various elements of the Saints' offense. The RPOs came from his time with Penn State. Other plays were designed as a collaboration of Ensminger, Brady, and QB Burrow.
Nonetheless, I was watching an interview on YouTube the other day and Drew Brees was talking about how he was enjoying watching the LSU football games this season. Then someone asked him if he recognized any of the Saints plays that LSU was running, and he answered yes I do on some of their plays. He then went on to describe several of the plays that LSU ran against Auburn that also are Saints plays. It was a pretty cool interview I thought.

Receivers primarily run designated routes and catch passes thrown by QBs among other things.
As Brady did an amazing job during the offseason coaching up the LSU receiver corp. As they were vastly improved relative to last season.
Meanwhile, it was Steve Ensminger who did an amazing job coaching up Joe Burrow during the offseason.
As everybody works unselfishly together as a team.

Anyone following Joe Burrow has his work cut out for him. That said, I think he will be just fine.

I wish we could have gotten Brennan some more game experience this year in the new system. From what I’ve seen he definitely has the skills to be a successful QB but we’re going to have to wait and see if he can put it all together. He was a Les recruit right? Hopefully he’s the anomaly with miles qb recruits and actually is good.

Doubt Brady stays 3-4 years in his current role. He will be an OC somewhere before that.

I hope he learned from Joe what it takes to be the Man. I hope he saw how they practiced during the off-season and he learned how to read defenses and study film along with what it takes to lead men into battle. If he does all the things Joe did off the field then he should be able to do a lot of good things on the field

I'm pretty sure Brennan broke all the Bret Favre records in Mississippi that were considered unbreakable. I think he's going to surprise a lot of people.

I do to. He looked comfortable last night when he was in. The arm talent is there.
I'm pretty confident he'll be a good QB.

Brennan has been groomed for a while now, sitting behind and watching Joe is going to be huge for him. Brennan will be setup for success next year.
Think about it; Chase, Marshall, McMath, Moss, Gilbert all to throw to. OL will be back mostly. We will have some beast RBs between TDP, Emery and Evans. Brady calling the shots.
This offense wont be vastly different than what he ran back in high school when he broke all sorts of MS state passing records. People tend to forget Brennan wasnt some nobody recruit, and hes entering his 4th season here next season. He's entering a better situation than Burrow did coming into last seaaon.
The fanbase will be split because he wont be Burrow, but he absolutely IMO will make plenty of wow throws and lead this offense to better than what weve seen in the past still. Burrow has set an impossibly high marl, but Brennan will create his own story and IMO it will still be a pretty dang good one.

He will be the starter next year.
I hope he has thick skin and doesn’t read the rant because he will be harshly criticized if he doesn’t do and accomplish exactly what JB has this year.
Part of this fan base cannot process the difference between milk & skim milk.
