It's the starting QB role Brennan's to lose next year?

I'm hoping all the waiting and learning behind other QBs serves him well like it did Matt Flynn and Aaron Rodgers when he takes over the reins next year.

I hope he lights it up. He really deserves it.

Brennan will be the starter and I expect him to have success! Got to learn from Joe for 2 years and knows the offense. Just need to see him step up and be vocal/physical

He’s going to be great, but he will be the most hated QB next year due to having to follow a legend

Of Course it is. I don’t see Peter Parrish taking it from him. But Parrish is a good QB

Very True...I think he will do great....but also hard to follow a Heisman QB national champion QB.

And yes...he will be the starter next year

This. I feel bad for him honestly. He will have a good year but the vocal dumbass portion of our fanbase will hate him bc he's not putting up ungodly numbers like Burrow has this year

I sure hope it is an open position. If he is the one that offers us the best chance for success, so be it.

He would have no excuses. He has been in the system and having more of an opportunity to understand it better than anyone, but to presume it is his from the onset is not realistic.

EVERY position is open until it is filled, NOBODY was promised a starting position. We don't get kids in recruiting by telling them to come and sit behind the senior guy and wait for him to screw it up or leave.

You want it, go out and earn it.

All Brennan needs to do is take what he observed and learned from Burrow and apply it to himself and his teammates. In other words, he should spend the offseason working at least as hard as Burrow did gelling and building chemistry with the receivers and the offensive line and he will be good for LSU. I don't expect him to be Joe Burrow good but nonetheless, good enough to be a relatively high draft pick when he leaves.

Once Myles has the 1st team reps at practice he will show he belongs here. I’m excited for him, but I also understand that there will be none other like Joe. I’m worried people are going to compare the two too much, and expect Burrow-like play. Myles will not produce like Joe, but with the right pieces around him and Brady calling the shots, he will be an excellent QB.

I read some things a couple months back that said Coach O might be looking to snag another QB transfer for next year, like he did with Joe.. I am not anti-Myles, or pro-Myles, i’m really not sure how great he can be.. But yall think there’s a chance Coach could grab a transfer QB? If so, then who might be on the market?

I was worried about a tough kick off classic for his first game. Schedule says UTSA for first. He should shine in this game and be ready for Texas the 2nd game.

You're living in the past. We are not running the same lame-arse offense anymore. Those days, thankfully, are gone. With the new offense LSU runs today, it is imperative that the projected starting QB, cause it can only be one QB at a time, gels and builds chemistry with the receivers during the entirety of the offseason the same way Burrow did to become successful.

Hence, a QB must become the projected starting QB before the regular season ends so that the projected starter can then gel and build chemistry with the receiver corp. Otherwise, the new system will not be nearly as successful.

UT's D is pretty bad, so I think playing at UF on Oct 10 will be his first huge challenge.

We will probably sign the number 1 recruit in the nation and promise him he can compete for the starting job. Let the best man win.

We cannot take a transfer this year due to Alexander flunking.

I think you are FOS and just wishful thinking due to your immense ignorance myself. Meanwhile, you can't get another QB unless you have a spot available and we won't have any spots available.
