Nothing about this season is meaningful in terms of programs' strengths, with the exception of the absolute dumpster fire which is the LSU defense.

They can’t, though. Not any time soon. Bo is clueless. He could not be any worse. He just doesn’t have it, and he never will. OId dog, WAY new tricks.

We don’t have the money to buy out Bo. O is stuck with him. After Bo is gone in 2022, the 2023 season is the season to do it. The only way things get turned around is Orgeron realizing he has to hire younger minds like Brady, and actually do homework on the fricking people he hires and not base it off of what they did 15 years ago.

I’m actually optimistic that O gets the message, what I’m not optimistic about is how this hurts recruiting.

Better look again. Ms St offense was nothing special and MO gave us was it 10 or 17 points? A 3 yard drive for a TD and couple yards for a long FG. 3rd down was pathetic simply the worse I have ever seen. Then 1st and goal from the 1 and we cannot get in. ZERO running game. NONE.
Offense has scabs too.
Only decent areas are the kicking games. Rest are just degrees of how bad.

O deserves credit for his willingness to admit past mistakes and trying to correct them. Unfortunately this is looking like another expensive mistake (canada). Very bad move to go with Bo. Then to try and belittle hos predecessor for whatever reason. He needs to fix it, recruit, and get away from the meathead tendencies that have seen him dump on Aranda when he spent 3 seasons ballyhooing about having the best DC in football.

I don’t need to look again...the fact is the offense scored more than enough points that it should have taken to beat both those teams...there is no excuse for having to win shootouts with Moo State and Mizzou...

This year is BS. As far as I am concerned, it’s nothing but scrimmages. This year season shouldn’t have happened since it was on again off again and then on again. Some teams start basically on time others in November. No fans, no tailgating. It’s hard for me to see it as a legitimate season. I don’t care to watch it. LSU goes from the best team in college history to a 1 win team. How can any team that wins an Natty this year brag about it?

Welcome to the late 80's through early 90's in Baton Rouge. I lived it, and all signs point to it coming back now. And just to be clear: I want coach O to right this ship, because I want my Tigers to win whether or not I correctly predict the coach's success or lack thereof.

I get it. Could be worse though. Only positive about sucking is that it was directly due to players busting coverages, not understanding what they needed to be doing. Completely different if they are doing what they are doing, and can’t keep up with receivers, etc.

I have a weird little hunch that the lack of concentration and effort from the LSU defense is a political matter, and, not a coaching issue.

Once Coach O said a good word about the President, some players decided that they didn't want to play hard for a Trump supporter.

These are Revolutionary times, politically and socially speaking.

There are no cinch wins left on the schedule. Those were the first in three weeks and we lost two of them.

Please. Dabo and Mike Gundy are about 100 miles further right than O and got caught in bigger “controversies.” And they seem to be doing fine.

If O lost the locker room bc of that it’s bc he had a weak grip on the locker room, not bc politics can’t be controlled.

Bye weeks after a loss are good in some ways but insufferable in many more ways.

Pretty much all the other teams have faced the same challenges as LSU, COVID, reduced practice time, ups and downs, it’s been the same for most of the SEC. our problem is that Coach O, although I like him and appreciate what they accomplished last season, is basically a position coach that is good at cheerleading but obviously not very good a choosing other coaching talent. He has to pick guys he likes or can get along with, which are few. The reality is, if Aranda hadn’t already been here and O hadn’t inherited him, he most likely would have never hired him, O just isn’t comfortable with other coaches that are as good or better than him, it’s a personality thing,
And although all the other teams were saddled with most of the obstacles that LSU was, somehow we look much worse than the rest of them, our defense looks like the just got together on a Friday before the game and then came out the next day and played a pick up game, with no coaching, no cohesiveness, no preparations, just put on the uniform and jog out there and see what happens. Actually it’s hard to make some of the talent we have look as bad as it has thus far.

I'll bet you wouldn't say that if they were winning. You're pretty much only a fair weather fan. Contrary to what you think it is a "legitimate" season and they will crown a nat'l champion... I am just so very grateful that they are having football this fall because the season and game are special to me. I love it... Quit your whining.

I think it's more he respects positions of authority and thinks that's how people should treat them because he's made it pretty clear he likes JBE and Trump.

They destroyed our defense.

Offense played well enough to win every game so far this year.

We scored 34, 41 & 41 and we are 1-2.

Do you know how bad your defense has to be to have that happen?
