Having inroads to players in Florida isn't a bad thing. But selling them out of state is much more difficult than selling them in state, especially when you can only target a few instead of all of them.

There may be some sort of verbal agreement in place. Kendall Rogers made a great point about Sully yesterday. While he thinks that Sully is the number one guy and that there's mutual interest, the longer Florida is in the tournament the longer that gives the AD to work out an extension with him.
Refer back to the Les Miles to Michigan situation. Forget about all the other, behind the scenes stuff, as to whether he was actually offered or not: he was about to play for a national championship.
If he "just" was going to another big bowl like the previous 2 years, he might have considered an offer to return home to Michigan a lot more. But at that exact moment, he probably would have been thinking "I'm days away from winning it all right here, and I have good recruits coming in. I can't walk away right now".
If it's O'Sullivan, he might be in agreement right now. But if he runs through the CWS and wins it all, he might have second thoughts, and the AD might be more inclined to keep him at any cost. He will have won 2 titles at Florida, was able to make a run with a 'down' team, etc.

My gut says if/when Sully decides to stay put or we move on due to skeletons...Woodward bypasses Vitello and goes for the next safest pick in Schlossnagle. Schloss has a great resume, I just wonder how much of it is him and how much is the private school advantages given to him. I genuinely don't know, I'll defer to those more entrenched CBB nationally.

I don’t know who you’re “source” is. But everything I’ve heard from multiple people who have insight into the program is that no decision has been made. I’m not saying you’re wrong, or full of shite, but you’re definitely one of them.
