It's really quiet about the coaching search

Long time lurker, just got registered.
Maybe or maybe not, a coaching search has started. However I can bet your bottom dollar that phone calls have been made. In the end, many here I feel will be totally surprised at the new selection. Lots of deflection is going on right now in order to keep the actually candidate out of the light until this tournament season is over. What's say the infamous rant? Who will be the surprise?

Woodward has been in talks with Jimmy Sexton. Saban has done all he can in football and is ready to take on a new sport back at home. I thought this was common knowledge.

The best way to blow a deal is to have it leak early. The Alleva AD was notoriously terrible at this and it cost them Fisher and Herman. Woodward has figured out where the leaks were coming from and either gotten rid of them or leaves them out the loop.

Because all our candidates are coaching in the tournament right now. Pretty obvious why we havent brought anyone in for an interview or anything.

I doubt anything is announced until a week or so after the coaches on the hot list start get eliminated in the tournament. Since the only smoke so far has been KOS my guess is he got a handshake agreement with UF for a contract extension. The others are still in play. Just my guess based on past searches.
