1 thing is for sure...it will be the nega-tiger's fault when he gets fired. It won't be b/c he didn't win enough games. It will be b/c some LSU fans talked bad about him on a message board.

I'll take the heat for that. You can lay it squarely at my feet as long as we bring in a real coach. It's no less ridiculous today than the day he was hired.

As for the OP, it is Alleva's fault he was hired, but unlike O, I would never apply for the HC job at LSU. The difference between me and O is I know I'm not qualified for the job.

I will say this, it's not his fault he sucks. He can't help it he was born without the mental aptitude for the job.

It’s not going to be his failure he gets fired. It’ll be the new ADs.

No. That would be your fault...and probably also my fault. Basically anybody's fault besides Coach O.

This is exactly my point. It's never o's fault.

Right out of the o-lovers playbook.

Maybe it's LSU lovers that would like a few months of all this bullcrap. Just saying. As I stated I was in Flecks corner for the job , so not really a O supporter. But I am a LSU supporter.

Well a vast majority of us on here are LSU supporters. And I'm not an o supporter either, but since he's the head honcho, I wish him the best. But with that being said, I don't have any confidence in his abilities to lead a program.

It's the chosen few here on the rant that want to absolve o of any wrongdoing as the head coach that brings these kind of negative posts and comments to light on here. If they didn't insist on claiming o never makes mistakes, there wouldn't be people making posts like mine calling o what he is, a mediocre head coach at best.

Alleva is ultimately responsible.

No question.

But, it doesn’t justify his position nor should it justify any length of tenure.

I'm at a point right now that honestly I wouldn't mind if Herman, O or Jimbo led us out next year.

most people didn’t feel that way in the least.
I posted facts on the bad teams that he beat and why he shouldn’t get the job. Then when he got the job and continued to post about the bad teams that O supporters spew supports to justify the decision to hire him. I will continue to do this because I believe in “The Lemon Law” and used car salesmen like him all need to be exposed at every opportunity so the good people don’t forget what excellence is supposed to be.

Miles needed to be fired. O was hired on an impulse. It wasn’t right on 11/26/16 and isn’t right today for those season ticket holders like me that have been pouring money into the program for 42 years and have been a fan since the ‘50’s.

It isn’t right and needs to be corrected.

Compared to what? Everyone sucks compared to Saban.

Compared to Miles, Coach O is a step up.

Compared to Miles- O was a change. Let's not kid ourselves, O does not evolve into a step up until at least a few national title games and one national championship. This season will decide if we are moving in that direction. Miles had his faults, but he set the bar pretty damn high.

While I blame the hire on Alleva, O lobbied for a job he had no business thinking he was even the least bit qualified for and by some accounts “poisoned the well” behind Miles back.

Even if you put the hire completely on Alleva, it is absolutely O’s fault that we were woefully unprepared to play against Florida16, MissSt, Troy, and Notre Dame. It’s also completely O’s fault that he allowed the Canada situation to spiral into disaster in-season, and completely O’s fault that we now have an OC that is incredibly unqualified to be an OC at LSU.

All that said, the ball is entirely in O’s court. Go win 9+ games in 2018 and he gets to continue as LSU’s coach and continue the quest to prove us wrong. Win less than 9, and he will rightfully be removed as LSU’s coach.
