Man I'm betting Alleva wishes he could have this one back.
He made a career-altering decision because of emotions getting the better of him. All he had to do after Herman got his Texas offer was get off the phone, go to sleep and wake up with a fresh mind about reviewing the remainder of the coach field.

It's not his fault. That's the o-lovers go to response when anything negative about o comes up. Perhaps it's not entirely o's fault he got hired, but he did lobby for the job.

1 thing is for sure...it will be the nega-tiger's fault when he gets fired. It won't be b/c he didn't win enough games. It will be b/c some LSU fans talked bad about him on a message board.
