Sully also strikes me as the type that likes to flirt with a new job every few years to get his current employer to meet more of his demands. Our job is pretty good leverage to do just that, lot of time left in this game to think anyone is locked in

He's got a pretty nice set up over there, do we really think he wants to leave it over lack of fans? Not sure about that

Just another Paul. Replace Paul with his twin.

I wouldn’t. Almost scary to think what he could build at Florida.

Yeah Im just basing it on the fact that we have to play A&M every year. If we don’t hire Vitello I hope he stays at Tenn forever.

Bianco is a better hire than KOS. My top list is: Cannizarro McDonnel Bianco

You left out Blake Dean

Keeping Paul and giving him a raise would be better than Bianco

Best potential hire out there.

Why would O'Sullivan leave UF, other than a bloated contract? He's got brand new facilities, and doesn't have to put up with the political bs that always surrounds LSU. O'Sullivan is using LSU and TAMU against UF for a payday.

I understand that you want to get in early on your next coach, but we should not be hearing that anyone is "the guy" without due diligence on available candidates.

Florida has 3 or 4 very good baseball programs that O’Sullivan fought off and got a previous meh Florida program to the top, the comparisons to Mainieri are very short sighted.
100% of his current roster is from the state of Florida and of his 40 or so commits for the next three classes only 6 are from out of state. He can’t build a championship contender with Louisiana talent exclusively. How does he manage the scholarship numbers with a large percentage of out of state players? Some guys on the list have already proven they can do it and O’Sullivan is not one of those. He’s a strong candidate no doubt, but isn’t without risk.

Wouldn't be a terrible hire but he'd be down the bottom of the list of A-Tiers I'd approach. I'd make several other guys say no before offering him. Wouldn't hate this but I'm not excited either. He's arguably a bigger underachiever than PM with talent.

@ThomasGoldkamp
Have heard some rumblings of this too. Family situation.

Just some context...

And I would not at all be shocked if we are just putting out KoS’s name as smokescreen either
