Skip hired miles, wouldn’t get Saban back when we could have and also let Pat Henry walk to A&M. He wasn’t a good AD but still better than fat Scott

We were never this bad over a 4 year span I don’t believe. Even Johnny Jones and Trent Johnson made the tournament

In the grand scheme of things no baseball is not on football level but at certain schools and especially in this conference you better have a top notch coach at the helm of your baseball team…

if we were in the running for the football NC year in and year out baseball wouldn't get near the attention that it does

Some people are really good at procedural and administrative aspects of a job (by the book so to speak), but have bad instincts. This is how I would describe Woodward.

Hired Jay Johnson, mulkey, and and increased revenue during NIL era.

If we ever got men's basketball right again, it would diminish the baseball program further.
And that in a nutshell is the biggest fear of the "baseball bros" on the rant, and is the genesis of these "who cares about basketball" threads and comments.
Who cares about basketball Jethro??? Turner Sports & CBS who pay BILLIONS for the rights to air March Madness and regular season games, along with ESPN.

Woodward was 100% responsible for Mulkey
True, but no way in Hades does she come to. LSU if she wasn't from Hammond

Kim was looking for a way out. Moneybags just threw more to let her come home

He hired Jay Johnson. And Mulkey. Everything else he tried turned to shite.
Maybe he can take credit for Johnson, but Mulkey wanted to come home.

Yes . The underlings found Jay Johnson and Mulkey pretty much recruited herself .

I was more interested in the womens' team back in the Sue Gunter and Pokey Chatman era. And oddly enough back in those days the men's team usually had good seasons as well and were fun to watch.

Sorry, but anyone who refers to Mulkey as a compensating factor in Woodward’s complete shittification of LSU sports is fricking gay.

He was horrible. He tried to hire the UF baseball coach.

You have no clue what you are talking about. He was an absolute great AD and great culturally to the Louisians community.
Now the AD before, Duke guy (forgot his name) that guy was not a fit. They all can’t be skip.
You have no legit evidence saying he was a bad hire. And brian kelly was a great hire at the time, like it or not. Just didn’t workout. Kelly still had a 72% win percentage.,
Thank god your not making Desicions at LSU
