It’s a shame we didn’t pay Griffin Herring enough to come back

Cowan is awesome. But if Herring was also in the bullpen it would do so much for the depth.

797,500 signing bonus.

not crazy

I guess dude was ready to go but we were gonna try him as a starter.

gotta think if he does that successfully he could have made more.

All of this. And he could have competed for the Saturday or Sunday Starter. I’d take him over Eyanson at this point bc Shores has the highest ceiling

He could have been our Friday starter, Anderson on Saturday, while Eyanson and Shores duke it out for Sundays.

Can you elaborate? Do you know this or are you full of shite like usual? Yeskie has done a good job improving our pitchers

You’re such a shite stirrer. He was ready to start his pro career and knew his number and got it. Simple as that.

That’s fair, but LSU should’ve at least matched it and allowed him to prove he can do more, because he could have definitely done more on this year’s team. Herring could challenge Eyanson and Anderson for a weekend starter role

not what another player's dad said on multiple occasions last season, including going into the draft before he was even drafted.

You can play games like you’re some insider, but unless you can bring receipts you should probably keep your mouth shut.

Post the receipts or shut up.

Idk from what I’ve seen Eyanson has better swing and miss pitches than Shores. When Eyanson is on and hitting his spot then he’s almost unhittable. Nobody that Shores has faced so far has had a problem hitting him throughout the game.

Match $750k for a college baseball player?

There are good football players that don't get that. No way in hell we throw that kind of coin for Herring.

Absolutely. When a guy can propel you to win the CWS you spend that money. Do you know how much money a CWS championship team makes?

Do you think TN is putting so much money into baseball for no reason?

I could be very wrong but I don’t think anyone on this team is making that much. Baseball NIL figures are much lower than football
