Give me three past LSU receivers to take their place and you go on to win the Natty again

I got Early Doucet, Jarvis Landry, and OBJ

Who you got?

ETA: Damn the more I think about it we have had some good to great receivers but what a fu*king team that was in 2019

Forgot about Josh Reed

I also see Eric Martin and Wendell Davis. They were two I thought of but weren't very fast.

Crue: Clayton was good selection also

Josh Reed is a must for any LSU WR list.

Josh Reed
Wendell Davis
Early Doucet

Honorable mentions to:
Eric Martin, Michael Clayton, OBJ, Todd Kinchen & Dwayne Bowe (after eye surgery!)

I’ll take Chase and Jetts over any LSU receivers, but my next two are Eric Martin and Jarvis Landry. So I’d start with those two and add a speedster - maybe OBJ, Josh Reed or Early Doucet.

I think this would be my 3.

You have to have OBJ for the speed/deep threat that Chase presented.

Reed would murder people in the slot. Jarvis would be my #2 here.

Bowe was better than Early, Jarvis, etc. More physically talented and more of an overall threat. D Bowe is critically underrated by LSU fans.

Reuben Randle is oft-forgotten as well. He's very similar to Marshall in terms of style/physical profile.

I disagree. He was great, but better than Jarvis Landry, OBJ, Chase and Jetts? No shot.

I think the better question would be, could Burrow have won the 2019 championship with the second string WR group of McMath, Sullivan and Dillon?

This is at least a debatable question, not a random exercise of picking who you think are the best three WRs not named Jefferson, Marshall and Chase in the history of LSU football.

All 3 of the second string got an NFL opportunity, with two being drafted and one signing an UDFA contract.
