you mean like his loyalty to the o linemen that he replaced the first chance he got the last two seasons?

I'm pretty sure the very first play of the game he immediately saw Brian Thomas was going to be open. He threw an accurate, on time, intermediate pass across the middle. Every criticism we've had of him so far pretty much addressed in one play. Thomas dropped it. Yet guys will still say he's incapable of doing it.

He threw the ball 6 times and handed it off 16 times, and then he ran once (albeit for a TD).

These posts are so tiresome and ignorant.

Where did you "learn" English? Is it your mother tongue? Not sure what you are trying to say.

I know more about who should play than Brian Kelly.

The more JD flops around with his decision-making, this will become a serious question. Maybe Kelly has brain softening.

You are totally obsessed with hating on Daniels. It’s weird. Literally pages and pages of your post history is trashing the dude. Seems personal to you.

About BK and his loyalty to his guys.

this is dumb.

Go look at Kelly at ND. he replaced QBs all the time.

One was dancing around until someone came wide open and one was spotting open guys immediately and getting the ball out. Give Nuss those 24 attempts and his stat line makes Daniels look like a second rate passer…again.

Again? Im still waiting on him to do it once.

But VISUALLY it more pleasing watching Nuss be aggressive and sling it to his play makers

Irrelevant.

Football isn’t about what’s “visually pleasing” and that’s subjective anyway.

Nuss can’t beat out a QB that “Can’t throw or read a defense”. Says a lot

No no no! It’s because BK is bias for “reasons” and he just doesn’t want to win at LSU. Everyone knows that. Just like everyone knows the PlayStation football coaches on this board know WAY more than the actual professionals.

I have been a big time Daniels defender.

I have said over and over that he’s so close to being amazing. I have shite in Juss (espcially early last year)

that being said, Nuss’s passes look better.

But obviously Daniels bring a completely different element with his legs and Nuss tends to force balls.

Even the most ardent Daniels supporters don’t dispute that Nuss is a better passer of the football. That’s obvious. But the better thrower doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the best QB for this team. I think a lot of people underestimate just how special Daniels is a runner. He’s not just a regular dual threat, he is an amazing runner.

Hey, look! Someone else gets it. Maybe BK thinks JD is the better option because or RBs have previously been pretty “meh” and he actually gave us somewhat of a running game. Yes, throwing deep does “open up the chance for running” a little more, but if your Oline is not great at run blocking and your RBs are still not great, your running game is still easily defendable even if you back off the secondary. Diggs may change that for us and if he does, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Nuss come in occasionally from time to time during games.

Like was said above, none of us who are fine with JD starting are going to try to argue he is the better “passer”. He isn’t. Nuss has got a hell of an arm and if can or has learned not to try to force a play when it’s not there and end up throwing an interception, he could be a really good QB for us. But if we have a terrible running game to go with it, teams will just do the opposite of what they do with JD and we will be no better off. It’s obvious that our WRs (while good) are not at the same level as they’ve been in the past when it comes to making plays happen.

Yes, and we were able to use his versatility to beat Bama last year. That should count for something, right???

You can’t tell anything from the Grambling game. I bet Collins could throe five TDs if they have let him.

It doesn’t matter.

Nuss can’t run — that’s what they want from a QB now.
