Say what you want about Major, but the guy loves LSU and loves his teammates. It was a rough year for everybody, I think he will have a bounce back year. Him/Gilbert/Toviano is a good safety trio, I’m big on the potential of Toviano

Not saying you are in the know but I will assume this is fact.
Sounds like the players were insubordinate and may be the reason for the big fall off on the defensive side. Kelly going to have a lot of egg in his face if House ends up having a good defense somewhere else.

Say what you want about Burns, but he clearly cares about the team and gives 100% every play. You don't have to be a great player to be a leader.

The fact was he wasn't putting out a good defense here. Sometimes changes have to be made. It has no bearing on future success of a specific coach. For whatever reason, he wasn't working HERE.
